As a general advice, please ask for the receipt to the driver prior to get off the car. Also, before departing, make sure the driver has turned on the meter. We cannot assure you that taxi drivers speak or at least understand English, so make sure to have your destination written down in a paper in Chinese.

Also, be especially careful with the so-called black taxis, which are illegal. Do not board them, since you can be victim of a scam. If you choose to board them instead, you’ll have to negotiate fares (make sure they not exceed CNY 20.00 for rides through the city).

Taxi ranks can be found immediately outside Terminal 2 (Arrivals, exit 2) and Terminal 3 (Arrivals, exit 2).
