Urumqi Airport Terminals
Urumqi Diwopu International Airport connects Urumqi with the Chinese cities of Beijing and Shanghai and also to Asian and European cities such as Astana, Tbilisi, Seoul, Novosibirsk, Baku, among others.
There are the following terminals:
terminal 1
Terminal 1, the oldest terminal of the Airport is reopened to ease congestion on the Airport.
Terminal 2
Urumqi Airport Terminal 2 is the domestic terminal, being Air China the main carrier.

Urumqi Airport Terminal 3 is the international terminal, even is home of China Southern Airlines.
Flights from Hong Kong and Macau arrive and depart from Terminal 3.

Transfer between terminals
There are at passengers’ disposal free shuttle buses between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 with a 30 minutes frequency.
They can be boarded in both Terminal 2 (Gate 1) and Terminal 3 arrivals (at the elevator outside Exit 1).
